What clothing items do you suggest to make if you want to learn patterning

So I’m not new to sewing I’ve been doing it on and off since 2022 but I’m trying to get into making my own clothes/clothes for conventions and I was wondering what are the best things to make to learn the foundations of patterning? For reference I know how to pattern pants so I’m mainly looking for upper body focused garments
