Traktor Kontrol S4 Mk3 buttons are too dim

Hey all, I just received an S4 Mk3 from eBay and I really like it. My only gripe is that the backlit buttons (like Master and Sync) are very dim to the point that its hard to read. I can't believe there is no brightness setting but even so, its strange that some buttons are pretty bright, especially when active, and others, especially the blue lighting, are very dim when inactive. This is bothering me - can anyone relate and/or know how to fix it?
