What if we just get rid of the iPad?

Advice Request

I think that we've been pretty good with tablets for the kids. Mine are 2 and 6. The 6 year old earns marbles by doing respectful things and then each marble is 10 minutes. He watches less than an hour a day. Bluey, mickey, mostly. We don't let him on YouTube unless it's a "how to draw" thing.

The 2 year old however, has now discovered the iPad, and she gets really upset when we take it away. It is of course easy to let her watch something so I can cook or whatever. But I really don't like seeing her consumed by it.

We don't allow the iPad in the car or at restaurants either, and we only have 1 for the whole house.

Even with that usage - I just think, what if we just got rid of it alltogether? That's kind of hard in the sense that my wife uses it in the morning, and we use it for education sometimes and for drawing stuff as well.

But maybe? Has anyone tried it? How pissed are they? Do they get over it? Is it too easy to fold?
