Huge temp changes on Xbox 360 slim

Busted out my 360 slim trinity chip after sitting under my bed for probably 7 years since Xbox wants to charge 30$ a month on game pass. after bad updating it I was able to see the temps and they were pretty high (82c) at the highest. After doing some research I guess that’s normal temp for the slim even tho that seems way to high for me to be comfortable using everyday so I set the fan over ride on and kept it at the default 40% and set all my cpu and gpu temps to 65c after letting it sit on the aurora dash board (that’s where it seems to get the hottest) for 15ish minutes we went down to 65c and I’m still there 30min later while playing mafia 2. This might be common knowledge I just thought I’d say something cuz I was getting a lot of mixed feedback. The fans aren’t making any extra noise and the system is running a lot better.
