Stepson is never satisfied with his room.

I am kind of at a loss for what to do here. My step son is just at a never ending unhappy place with room. He has never liked sleeping in his room. Even when he was little. I went and redid his bedroom one year for Christmas when he was about five. I did the whole thing in Minecraft. And my dad even built him a Lego table. He didn't want to sleep in there because his TV wasn't big enough.

Fast forward to now. He's said things like he didn't like his mattress. Fair enough. We got him a new mattress. He didn't like his TV. We traded tvs with him. He actually has the second largest TV in the house. Then it was his room is too crowded. But when my partner went in there to help him rearrange his room he said he didn't know how he wanted it. Now it's his bed. Again.

I'm just kind of fed up. I told him for a bigger bed he's either need to lose stuff or a bigger room. He legit looked at me and said I want a bigger room. Like I can just do that. Like... I just looked at him like are you being serious? I said or we could downsize your tv and get a smaller shelf for it. And your room wouldn't be so crowded. He said he didn't really need a TV anyway. Which is not going to last very long... He is using the tv constantly. He even went through a phase where he locked himself in his room everyday after school and refused to eat dinner with us to sit in his room and watch TV.

I just don't know what to do anymore. We have a bigger room in the basement. I've been thinking about seeing if he wants that... But it just seems like no matter what he isn't going to be satisfied.
