Hi all :) it’s been awhile since I posted. I’ve had a lot of big feelings and was taking my time to bring them here but wanted to share an update.

I had my last surgery with Santucci in April. After the surgery, I had some issues deflating my pump due to the release button being high up in my ball / swelling making
It difficult to access. I was also not sure if my ED was too short as it was not filling out the entire tip.

For these reasons, I ended up having a post-op appointment in Seattle (I live in another part of WA) with Dr. Skokan. The initial post op was going to be in June, but he went on paternity leave until September. The appointment was moved two days before it was supposed to occur out to Sept 19th.

I went into the appointment with a lot of questions and was unsure if I would end up needing another surgery. It was a super fast appointment where he basically said it looks good and I’m good to go. The pump and release for my ED work fine now with ease, and the ED itself is at a great placement. It felt oddly anticlimactic like no one understood this was a declaration to the end of this journey. After I got into the car I had a big cry and it was the first time I think I really felt all of the emotions this incredibly emotional journey held. I thought about my kid self and being here now. I thought about everything going on in the US for trans people and just had a big ol time of feeling feelings haha. But it was cathartic.

So, I guess I’m here to say im done with surgeries. If anyone has felt this way- it feels like it ended without closure. It feels like such a huge endeavor to end on a 5 min appointment with a new doctor who says I’m done. I can’t quite explain it, but I think I maybe need to have a dick is done party or something to commemorate this time.

All in all, I am so grateful for this process. Santucci and especially his team really got me through all of it alongside my family / friends. This journey is so intense and is something I think I’ll be healing from for a long time. But I’m so so proud of myself and so honored to be here now. So here’s my dick!

I’ll try to continue to post updates in time, but I’m also excited to move on with my life and get to a point where this is just my dick :) thank you all for the support along the way and for sharing your journeys. This group is truly special and I admire everyone who is here or wants to be here. Much love ❤️
