I'm wondering if there are people here who watched Peacemaker Season 1 without watching The Suicide Squad first. If so, how was it?

I’m asking because I just recommended the show to someone, and of course, I told them they should watch TSS first. Not only because Season 1 deals directly with the aftermath of the movie, but also because it’s just a great f*cking movie in general.

That got me thinking whether there are people who started the show before watching the movie? If so, how was the experience?
