We had been set up through friends of friends, and although blind dates always had the potential to go wrong, this one had been excellent. We had met for drinks, chatted and gotten to know one another, and then headed to dinner at a great Italian restaurant. We laughed and talked and ate, and lingered over wine and dessert. Normally, I wouldn't, but we had gotten along so well that I couldn't resist inviting you back to my place.

So there we were, sitting on the couch, sipping drinks and listening to music when I had an idea. "Oh, I was just wondering," I said casually, setting my drink down and looking you in the eyes, "do you like to be tied up?"

I didn't know what reaction to expect, of course. Some women would put down their drink and storm out of the house then and there. But you seemed so open-minded and fun loving that I thought you might be the kind of woman who would find the idea exciting. I had all the necessary accessories and restraints and was looking forward to showing them to you and letting you select your favorite.
