It's not unreasonable for the West to be held to higher standards

It's not unreasonable for the West to be held to higher standards. I hear many arguments from Westerners about how are Western countries are judged more harshly and are held to higher standards wether it's the USA or Israel or any Western country compared to other countries especially their adversaries.

The problem is that it's only reasonable and inevitable that those countries will be held to higher standards because they claim to be Western countries.

Western countries claim that they are the good guys and that they are morally superior. They justified their leadership of the world with this claim. Instead, they act just as bad and sometimes against others who had nothing to do with their grievances.

What is the reason then for other countries tolerating their rule? Now, more and more countries are starting to reject it. They do themselves no favours in convincing those countries otherwise.
