Post deleted on r/billburr: On 21 August 2025, Saudi authorities executed Jalal Labbad, for the "crime" of protesting the Saudi royal family when he was just fifteen years old. The authorities have refused to give his body back to his family: Amnesty International.

Thirty seven days later, Bill Burr performed at a gig organised, funded, censored, and attended by those authorities, boasting: "The royals loved it!".

This is why people are upset. I'm not a bot, I'm not a new fan, and I can in fact point to Saudi Arabia on a map. Just feel it will take a lot more than hollow deflection to save his reputation at this point.
