I am 28. Just lost my old job. Barely scrapping by working a shitty job right now. What should I do?
I live in HK. I was working in the labour department in HK government. But that is just so much things (mother's mental illness and hospitalization of my maternal grandma ) happen in last December that I failed my probation exam. And for some unknown reason I am the only one that not allowed to retake the exam (zero explanation). The only things I known is that I somehow accidentally pissed off someone big from the government (Information from my former supervisor) . And now, I working as a construction worker + safety supervisor in a shitty company. I been through several interviews to get this job and the only reason that I got this job is because my friend known the boss and the owner owe him a huge favour and my friend also owe me a huge favour. But because my mother mental breakdown once in a while and the boss want to hire a mainlander to replace me (cheaper and he can receive "introduction fee" from the mainlander salary). I tried to futher studies. But every courses denied me. Nursing or radiotherapy or anythings that can yield a job in this day and age. I have been diagnoised with high blood pressure recently and my mother's condition are getting worse and worse everyday. This really stressing the fuck out of me. Not to mention my father complains about me losing my old job and said he will kick me out if I can't earn as much as I used to be when I am 30. I really advice from people been through this situatioin. I am on several medication right now. I just wanted to give up sometime but even I failed to do that. What in the world should I do?
