Experiences with revision surgery to correct for wound separation following vaginoplasty?
I had surgery with Dr. Min Suk Jun two weeks ago, and up until yesterday my recovery had been going very smoothly and without issue.
I accidentally ripped open the stitches anchoring my labia to the posterior fourchette while upsizing to orange, and after examination the surgeon confirmed that my degree of wound separation was unlikely to completely heal on its own and would likely require a minor revision surgery down the line.
From what I understand, this would be a very simple outpatient procedure under local anesthetic once the rest of the surgical site has largely healed around the 6-12 month mark. Has anyone else had experience with this sort of follow-up surgery?
As an aside, I'd also appreciate an invite to the Discord server for Min Jun patients, since I imagine that'd be a better place for this sort of question and any follow-ups.
