Thin metal strap attached to top of turbo 2016 A4

Hey everyone, just bought a used 2016 Audi A4. Runs great but the EPC light comes and goes with no codes stored. I noticed on top of the turbo there is a thin metal strap that is missing the screw to attach it to the top of the turbo. What is this strap and could it be causing random EPC light beyots not fastened? Thank you for any my help!
