New to silver where should I start ?

Hey,

I'm new to silver and interested in buying an ounce of silver, but the only thing holding me back is the premiums. If I buy an ounce, I'd have to pay around £55, which means I would be down around 30% straight away. Is there any place to buy silver closer to spot?
