NYC Birthday Options

Heading to NYC in a few months to spend a two nights prior to an international flight. My wife’s birthday is shortly after we go so I would like to take her for a couple of nice meals. Trying to decide on some combination of Per Se (Salon) , The Modern and Jean-Georges. My budget can only fit two of these options. We have been to one Michelin Starred restaurant in Sweden 2 years ago, so I am not overly concerned with ‘boring’ food as some reviews seem to say for Per Se. I think we are new enough in our fine dining journey to appreciate well executed food without needing the extra creativity an Atomix would bring.

Ideally, we would be hitting one spot for dinner, and then another for lunch the next day prior to our late evening flight out of JFK. However, if anyone thinks it’s more worth it do do just a single, more expensive experience for dinner, I would be open to that as well.
