nothing bundt cakes centerpieces and food - planning help
Hi everyone! I’m planning a party with around 80–100 guests and wanted to share an idea I’m working on (and get some advice). I’m thinking of using 8" Nothing Bundt Cakes as centerpieces for each guest table. One cake per table of 8 people. I got a quote from their website: about $570 for 12 eight-inch cakes (2025 pricing), in Lemon and Strawberries & Cream flavors. I think that an 8" cake should be plenty for each table. Guests could even go for seconds. My plan is to have someone at each table cut the cake themselves, with utensils already set out for them to use.
For food, I’m leaning toward Cuban lechón with rice and beans, served buffet-style, though that part’s not fully set yet. My question is: How should I handle the plates and utensils for the cake? Should I have separate dessert plates already at the tables, or wait to set them out after dinner? Would love any suggestions or feedback, especially if anyone has done something similar with Nothing Bundt Cakes as centerpieces. Thanks!
