Anyone else feel like TikTok suddenly stopped pushing their videos?

🤔 Help Needed

I’ve been a TikTok creator for a while now, and my account used to have really good organic growth. Since fall 2023, things were going great with consistent views, likes, comments, shares, follower growth… the whole thing. My content was performing well, and my account was in good standing with TikTok for a long time.

At first, I noticed that my videos without on-screen text barely got pushed compared to those with text. Fine, annoying, but manageable. I accepted that TikTok’s algorithm favors text-heavy content and kept going.

Then, a few months ago, I started switching things up a bit: different backgrounds, some outdoor videos, slightly different formats. Nothing extreme, just keeping my content fresh. That’s when the reach flatlined out of nowhere.

Here’s where things continued to get frustrating.
For the last five months, every single video I post hits a wall at around 300–600 views within its first hour after posting. The engagement on those views is great, with tons of likes, saves, comments (often from non-followers), high watch time, and retention, but then it just stops dead. No more pushing to new audiences, no organic momentum.

It’s not that I’m not hitting the For You Page either. I am. It’s just like my videos never make it past the first batch of views that is accumulated within its first hour.

The frustrating part is how often TikTok now tells me, “Your video is doing great, boost it to reach more people!” I can’t help but feel like they’re holding reach back to make me pay.

Before this, my “bad” videos got 2–3K views, average ones 10–100K, and some even hit 5M. Now I’m stuck at 600 views max.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Did your reach ever come back?

Would love to hear how you handled it, or if there’s anything that actually works to break out of the videos getting stuck at 300–600 views.
