Looking to make new friends in Almaty!

Hi all! I would be in Almaty next week and would love to meet new people! I am a novice cinematographer and have just started making travel vlogs, I am flying in from London and Kazakhstan would be my 4th country this year! would also love to know the happening spots on a Wednesday. If you have any tips for Kazakhstan I would appreciate it as well! (Btw do you guys use tap there or should I carry cash? thank you!)
