Janny Wurts likes Sun Eater

Legendary fantasy writer Janny Wurts of Wars of Light and Shadow series recently binged Sun Eater (up to DG) and had some great things to say about it:

I've been following her ever since I stumbled on Master of Whitestorm while going through Sword & Sorcery phase. I haven't read any of her other stuff but Whitestorm really blew me away. It starts out feeling like a series of classic episodic S&S adventures, with each story you get more of the MC Korendir's backstory and why he's walking this "heroic path". It's surprisingly psychological and layered take on S&S genre, way deeper than I expected and beautifully written.

If anyone here's a fan of S&S and deep character driven fantasy I can't recommend Master of Whitestorm enough.
