Whats up with the anti-mods sentiment on the bannerlord steam discussion?

I think every question asked there, some people say dont use mods, turn off the mods, mods are just cheats, like wth man I mean the m&b series has been carried by mods since warband, or maybe before that? whats wrong with these people?
