Countifs not recognizing a Date Value

Hi there as the title says I have the following formula in my excel sheet =COUNTIFS($B10:$B11,$A$2,$C10:$C11,$B$2) I am trying to get excel to recognize and count how many people are checking in on a certain day based on the hotel. This formula continues to throw up either the value error like the photo below or just not count and leave the value as 0.
