Well… time for a refund I think

Hi Reddit My friend give me a controller to check because when he was moving the joystick he got some noise and a small strength (it’s a Afterglow Wave Wired)

I opened the controller like I do regularly and cleaned the joystick (was really dirty) with some IPA (99,9) wait 20 min to power it, now the controller vibrates but not recognizing from Xbox or no glow at all.

I do repair at home it’s my hobby I have done a lot of controler (also stick drift change stick) never ask for money to my friend (just buy the joystick) but I think now it’s time to get some $$$ to buy a news one to my friend I can’t understand what is wrong and everything seem OK.

Maybe the alcohol made a short circuits the controller is currently opened and i will probably wait tomorrow to try it again will update this if I get any news’s.
