Undiagnosed and overlooked

I, 17F, have been diagnosed since last year. I wish people recognized my autism more, so they could further understand me, and then see the true cruelty of the situations I'm put in half the time. I grew up in a household that sort of sees autism as a shame, and I really just need a shoulder to lean against because the way I get treated breaks my heart all the time.
