A tip for all the newer players

Been playing since EA release and have beaten it on max diff. My best advice is slow down! I’ve watched a bunch of your gameplay videos here, the last of which was someone fighting Chronos (and winning). Every video shows frantic movement where you’re trying to play like Hades 1 and dash everywhere while trying to out damage your opponent.

This game is way more methodical. There’s far more precise movement but its also a much slower game than Hades I, especially with your cast.

Eris is a great example. At first she’s an extremely difficult boss until you realize that you can just stay close to her and run behind her (not run and hit but just run) every time shes about to do anything. Oh and when shes spinning you just run in a circle around her. Thats it. Don’t attempt to out damage her, don’t be rushing in and out. You literally just slowly circle around her and you wont get it.

Every boss is like that. All of Chronos’s moves are mid range. Do your damage and then wait for an opening. If you’re bouncing all over the place you WILL get hit by his throw. But its also super easy to just be out of range of his throw.

As the basic game becomes pretty trivial I realized i was often standing still or running without any other input. Not running and hitting and trying to blitz things but just running and waiting.
