I just told my mom about my rape experience

This happened a long time ago, back when I was 7 or 8. I'm 17 now.

The reason why I don't tell her earlier because people around me said that boys cannot get rape and the one who rape me is a woman.

I feel sick, I muster all my courage to tell her but after I did there's only uncomfortableness.

I cannot explain it but rn the only thing I feel is uncomfortable.

What should I do? Why am I feeling this?
