Stop forcing teachers to cover classes if admin never does
Just need to vent because I’m so incredibly stressed out that I’m sick to my stomach. Today is the last day of the grading period and I have major deadlines for ESL paperwork (I’m the one mostly responsible for it at my campus on top of teaching.) I am cramping like a MF thanks to endometriosis and I’m just overall on the verge of a panic attack. Just got notified I’m being forced to cover a large, rambunctious class during my planning, and there’s no opt out. I NEVER see our admin covering classes. Like ever. So it pisses me off that teachers are forced to when we have 3 assistant principals and a principal who could jump in for a period or two. This year sucks so bad but stupid stuff like this makes it unbearable. Sorry, I just need a safe space to vent. 😭
