Can midterm affect Greatly your overall grade?

Hi po everyone! I'm having a bad problem with this certain subject po huhu especially after nya mag bigay ng midterm exam..

Ito po kasing prof namin bigay lang ng bigay ng quizzes hindi naman po tinuturo. Kahit anong study po iba rin yung lumalabas. Kakatapos lang po namin mag take ng midterm and 😭💔. Yung quizzes ko po puro bagsak and I'm scared for my score sa midterm. May chance parin po ba na maka 1.75 atleast if nakabawi po sa finals? Please help
