I'm considering leaving
I met this man in 2016,I was 16 living in an abusive household and I'm an orphan. We clicked, he seemed to understand even tho i didn't open up about my situation. A friend of mine from back then decided to tell him about my abuse without my consent, the boyfriend confronted me.I was shocked i told him I needed a break because i didn't want anyone to see that part of me. But then i loved him, after 6 months i reached out to him. When we reconnected he told me he wanted to be there for me regardless, he told me everything that made me feel for once i was loved. We got back together, he started to ask me about my school uniform, he took care of me, he was 19 he didn't work, he was a first year student. When his father gave him yhe allowance for rent and food, he would split that with me. I was grateful, i thought he's a godsent angel.
After a year together he told me ge wanted us to have a baby, i was shocked to hear that. I told him i was young for that and i nwver thought I'd have a baby in this lifetime, he cried and told me a story about his ex girlfriend who gave him a baby who wasn't his. I felt pity for him. When I was 18 we had a baby because i felt obligated to do so after everything he has done for me. When i fell pregnant he was really excited, he treated me so good, everyone around was happy for me, my family told me he's good for me, i should stick with him. When i was 8 months pregnant everything changed, he started cheating, ignoring me. I was devastated. I gave birth, he came around, he was the best father, he apologized for everything, i 'forgave' him.
When our son was a year old, he confessed to me, crying telling me I'm so good too him but he keeps betraying me, i was confused, he told me he has slept with a man, so seeing me so joyful and being so good to him made him feel very guilty.
Lobg story short we overcame all that. I was really hurt but at the same time i kept believing everything he said. 9 years later I've noticed something about him. Something is missing, he always try to please his ' boys' it doesn't matter which boy, but as long as you're a guy he always try to please. For example i told him i don't like the addiction of alcohol that he has, we had this conversation in January, he stopped. I was proud of him and in September he got a new job away from me, he left. Fist day, he called mw drunk, I was hurt but he swore he wiil never drink again, he just didn't want to disappoint the guys he was living with. I understood. But this kept happening again and again and again he even started flirting with a girl, I found out he apologized and said he was not really into the girl. It's just that one of his bros dated the girl's sister so he felt he needed to fit in too.
Since it schools holidays (break) he said we should visit him, we did, Unfortunately he's been working today it's his first day off since we got here and we're leaving tomorrow. He told me he wanted us to go to for an ice cream date. I was excited he never took me on a date.I waited for him, he told we should meet in town since his friends decided they should go for drinks. I arrived in town at 8am, he told me to wait for him he will have few beers then we'll go. I was disappointed but i agreed. He said he will be with me at 9, he kept postponing time until I told him it's okay, I can wait for him until 11. When 11 hit he came up with another excuse, he straight up told me his friends wanted to party more i should leave.
