Is there a way for https: players to use a self hosted server?

I have a problem.

I have no idea how to get a wss:// server ip using playit.

I can play on the server just fine from a regular instal of 1.12 but not from the eaglercraft webpage.

any and all help is gladly accapted and please forgive both spelling mistakes as it is not my mother tounge and if this is a dumb question forgive that to. I say thanks in advance for qany and all assistance!
