Feel like giving up [OH to NC]

So as the title says I feel like throwing in the towel with the job search. I want to relocate at my own expense (which I’ve said on my resume) to NC as I am in the financial sector and I want to escape winters. I’ve put in so many applications, reached out to connections on LinkedIn, and have only heard rejections or nothing at all.

On the upside is that I can take my current job with me as I do remote work but I really want a new job. I plan on moving in the spring with my current job.

Do you think companies are hesitant to even accept me with being out of state?

My resume has the job description duties because otherwise it wouldn’t be that thought out - do libraries help with resume building?
