1000-2000 CAD budget first PC

Hey everyone! I've been playing video games for basically my whole life and have been using a gaming laptop for the last few years and it's finally time to upgrade. My budget ideally would be around 1,500 Canadian dollars but I am willing to spend a few hundred more to make it future proof. I've considered buying a prebuilt but just think it's worth it to spend that money on better parts. I play games like Minecraft, RDR2, Valorant, Phasmaphobia, The sims 4, etc. I really want solid graphics for games like RDR2 and smoother/higher (200+) FPS for valorant. I also want to be able to do a bit of school work on it so just a bit of storage/office capabilities, but a major focus on gaming.
