Built in a low stability area - am I screwed?

New player here, absolutely loving Vintage Story. I've build up a house and garden. I love how much effort goes into making everything.

Anyway, after taking several hours of digging, chopping and building, I've got this house. Only snag is that only now I realise I've built in an area of low temporal stability. Every day or two I need to leave my base area to get it back to manageable levels. That's fine now, it's still summer, but I feel like all day excursions in the wilderness will be out of the question when winter comes.

Am I a bit screwed here? Is my best bet just to bite the bullet and move somewhere else?

I'm open to it, but I'd rather stay where I am if possible. Is it doable?
