Gel Top Coat on Press Ons

Hi all,

New to nails here. I like to buy press ons with cool designs, since I’m not good at nail art. I know some people use builder gel underneath press ons, but with the designs I buy I don’t believe the nail would be able to cure fully (which I know leads to skin issues). Would it work if I applied the press ons the way I normally do (with proper prep, glue etc) and then use a gel coat on top with a curing lamp? Or would that not do anything. Any tips appreciated!!
