Do mosquitoes attack in pairs?

I've been noticing this for a while now. Every time there r mosquitoes near me, trying to attract, there's usually 2 and not just 1. It's not 3,1, etc always 2. Why's that?

Is it just coincidence or there's some theory behind it? Do they like attacking in pairs? Is that a couple? LMAO
