Gunn breaks down during the podcast, when talking about the relationship between Adebayo and Chris & how it reminds him of his late father & Jen. Jen also becomes emotional & it is beautiful to see how these guys & Gunn have been transparent about their creative journey & shown their vulnerable side to the audience like this.. They even talk about the kiss scene and how he felt uncomfortable. I cant name any big, famous film makers that do this. Cena also appreciated being vulnerable, being a man and a celebrity on screen & in interviews. I love how the people that Gunn works with have similar value systems and they all become his friends. This was beautiful to see. I understand people did not get over the top action scenes in the finale that they wanted but the character development made sense to me & its not often you see that in action movies or superhero flicks. Sure, we didnt get a 11th street kids vs ARGUS or ARGUS vs Earth X. But, it wouldnt make sense for checkmate to violently fight ARGUS anyway and resigning their jobs there was the grounded way of standing up to them. We will probably get earth X and Keith in the future. I liked how grounded & psychological this whole season was & the character development was top notch. I am not sure if it is fair to be outraged and disappointed by that. We do get MOT & salvation prison teased in the epilogue..

I dont expect deranged, sociopathic, fake stoic Snydercults to get this.
