Which lens would you use on the a9iii for football

I have a 300 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8GMii. When I shoot football I use 2 cameras an A1 and the A9iii. I like using the a9iii with the 300 because I get better action shots when the ball is in play on the field but sometimes I find myself wanting to crop more and can't because of the lower megapixels. Whereas with the A1 on the 300 I can get shots waaaaay down field and be able to crop no problem and still have decent resolution but the tracking and the fps isn't as good. I'm just looking for opinions on how you would set up this gear for football and why?
