It’s sad to see that our government and investors often focus on what brings the quickest returns. Tourism development always seems more promising than agriculture, especially on our more remote islands.

But imagine the potential if we brought agriculture back to life on our islands. 🌱
Less dependence on imported goods, more local jobs, and the pride of seeing our own fruits and vegetables served in our restaurants — grown right here, not shipped from China or anywhere else.

It’s time we start planting the seeds for a more sustainable, self-sufficient Bahamas.
