Got new offer, asked to server notice period [update]

Hello everyone,

So I tried to escalate the situation to senior HR, I was responded with "it's not in the policy", and when I showed her the policy that I downloaded from the portal she giggled, like literally giggled and said "policies change every now and then" and said I can take leaves for the amount of notice period and remaining days can be taken as LEAVE WITHOUT PAY. So when I told them that it's in the policy, mentioned in the mail, with page number, clause and quoted the clause, and that if they can't approve it I'll have to escalate it to higher management (director and senior director), I received a call asking me to send the medical documents of my parents so that they can validate it with the empanelled doctors. Soo my question is, I have the documents, my dad's and mom's as well, just the doubt is that my mom's documents doesn't have anything written where it says "has to undergo a surgery soon" when I have mentioned it to them. Soo will that be a problem? My mom has glaucoma so it's progressing, and at one point operation might be needed in sometime for real.
