Toxic Shock Syndrome after 3 weeks?

I had my period nearly 3 weeks ago. I’m pretty sure my tampon just fell out. I have tried to check and don’t feel anything.

I had a fever a few days ago and sinus issues, but those are going away.

Can you get Toxic Shock Syndrome that far after having a tampon stuck? (Potentially stuck). I’m assuming my fever wouldn’t have also gone away if it was TSS.
