Direct effect

For this topic in EU do I need to also learn extensive amounts on supremacy - rn I have 10 cases on it and then also critiques from crotty, Pringle etc ?? Or can I just learn like costa v enel and simmenthal ??

I’ve seen it mentioned as a sentence in papers on direct effect but does supremacy come up in other ways that I’d need more info??
