unisex hiking groups

Hi,

I would love to get into hiking as a way of meeting new people and seeing all the world has to offer. I am 19F and do not socialise at all and I want to try and change that even tho its very scary to me. Are there any niche groups I could join out there for hiking in the peak district? I know of the ramblers and big ones like that but for some reason I think I’d feel stupid and out of place in one of those.
