I need help for gd

I've been trying to decide what to play for days, but I don't know what to do. My skill is like extreme demon. I had made a post about The Golden and ignored everything except a comment that said "you will get to The Golden faster playing normal than jumping to it", I thought about it a lot and it's true, could someone give me a progression or something like that? Or advice on what to play? I love Wave and Ship.
