My mom says she can hit me now that i’m 18.

I had been sick all week this week, so I haven’t been up much. Nor been able to clean my room. So today, I finally get up. And mention I want to see my friend she said not unless I clean my room, So i do. but then, i tell my mom hey can i go to my friends house now since i cleaned.

she gets angry and starts telling me no, i don’t deserve it, sends me almost histaricly mad texts when i walk away crying because she was yelling. and then i can’t stop crying because she won’t stop, so she slams into my room, screaming at me to shut up. and tells me she can have the cops take me to a psych ward, and that if she hits me it’s not child abuse anymore. that she can legally beat the fuck out of me now.

what do i do, im scared. help.
