Advice
Looking for some advice on what to do in my current situation, little background, I graduated college 2 years ago in December and I have been working at a local accounting firm (3 partners 8 staff) we do mostly Reviews for construction companies, Audits for water companies and of course the usual bookeeeping payroll tax return stuff. I was just doing grunt work until One of the partners was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and I saw the signs early on but everyone acted like it wasn’t happening. until about 8 months ago all hell broke loose…… I have been working ridiculous hours trying to catch up on everything that he messed up. Although I have no problem working as much as I am I feel like there is no long term gain besides the knowledge I’ve gained from being able to have more responsibility than I other wise would. I’m 2/4 on the CPA and want to know if anyone has any advice on what they think I should do. I know I want to stay in public, but is the opportunity to work on more advanced things better than going to a more organized firm? Not sure if that made any sense but fuck it
