Rep mentioned TM prepares holiday season promos soon. Was she pulling a prank on me?

I used 611 text message to contact TM for a connection related question & other stuff.

At the end of conversation I asked whether TM planned for better thanksgiving/holiday promos. I was expecting some vague responses, but she told me that TM would offer slightly better promo on the flagship devices, but would not specify for which device (ios vs android)

was I pranked or she actually knew something this early?
