i9-9900K + RTX 2080 Super or i5-9400F + RTX 3060 Ti

Trying to decide between two setups and can’t tell which one’s the smarter buy in 2025.

Option 1: i9-9900K + RTX 2080 Super

Option 2: i5-9400F + RTX 3060 Ti

I mostly play Fortnite, Elden Ring, and Minecraft (with shaders) at 1080p — so CPU performance matters, but GPU still counts too.

Since the 2080 Super and 3060 Ti are pretty much neck and neck, is it worth paying extra for the i9-9900K? Or should I save some cash and go with the cheaper setup?
