Changing my mindset

I've gotten my first pieces of latex, a choker and mid-length gloves. It's an interesting material, and I like the shiny, sleek vibes.

But how do I tell myself the gloves are something I can do normal activities with? That they're just another piece of clothing, and not SOLELY a kink/masturbation tool?

Additionally, I don't know how to get the confidence to wear anything more than the choker in public, because I get nervous about being judged... How do I change this thinking holding me back?
