Room broken in at premier suits what should I do?

Room was broken into by what presume was a staff member. Almost all our stuff was stolen including jewelry, clothes, perfume, headphones etc. cops were called but of course there was no camera facing our room. The incident is being “investigated” by hotel customer relations. What else could we do to help get compensation?
