Preamble: My belly band EDC solution

Although I own one SA/DA full-size 9mm and two nice modern striker-fired compact 9mm pistols, I simply have not yet arrived at an affordable, comfortable EDC holster/carry solution for any of them, FOR MY NEEDS. Meanwhile…

I thought I would share what I’ve developed and carry, as needed, in case it provides any food for thought.

Note that my wife and I live in an AZ tourist destination that leans red, where we manage 6 short term rentals from &125/night suites to $1400 homes with pool that sleep 12. You meet all kinds in our town. Yes, I have my AZ CCW permit and am current with USLawShield. I practice live-fire at my indoor range monthly and unloaded at home 2-3x monthly.

Equipment list:
S&W Model 36 Chief Special .38 snub-nose w/ Hornady Critical Defense .38 +P

Wolf Tactical Belly Band w/integral holster and snap-strap plus smartphone-sized pouch (and currently unused mag pouch)

Viperade Tactical EDC 3-slot Organizer

3” Vivivi Mini Praxis lockblade knife

Weatherman rev pocket size multitool

4” Pioocan Rechargeable 1200 Lumen flashlight

Everything except S&W purchased on Amazon, including Hogue oversized grips (which are outstanding).

Coming Soon: I just ordered a formed pouch for my Vexor Mk3 OC spray dispenser, to fit the belly band so will be adding that for a non-lethal defense option.
