Does anyone else have "secret hobbies" they hide because they're afraid people will be judgmental or uninterested?

I've been really into building detailed miniature models and listening to historical podcasts for years, but I never talk about them. I got used to people in the past being dismissive or making fun of "nerdy" stuff, so I just stopped sharing. I'd love to find friends who are passionate about their own weird interests, but I don't know how to open up anymore. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you start letting people in?
